teaching

My approach to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in writing and rhetoric, English education, composition studies, and embodiment emphasizes discovery, reflection, and the dialogic creation of knowledge. I help my students sharpen their responsivity to a range of academic, disciplinary, and public discourse situations. I hope students leave my courses as responsive writing experts, eager to continue exploring their curiosities about the work of language and composing in the world.
